Michelle Huynh is the Procurement Director at Curve Hospitality and leads a team of six Procurement Specialists. She oversees all projects from procurement phase to completion. As a strong believer in positive thinking in the workplace, you will always find a smile on her face. Michelle is originally from Louisiana but now considers herself a Texan. When Michelle is not working, she loves spending time with her friends and family, especially her two dogs. She also enjoys traveling and trying cuisines around the world.

Top Id Award

Curve Hospitality’s talent was recognized last Tuesday by the NEWH Houston Chapter. The chapter held a hotel tour in one of Curve’s projects, Courtyard Marriott Heights location. Archita Patel with Curve Hospitalty, and Tim Roesler with MCS led the group and presented the vision for this project. Curve also was one of the two firms awarded the 2020 Top ID award by NEWH Houston Chapter. The TopID award is a prestigious honor determined by NEWH chapter and regional boards to recognize and promote the best in our industry. Not only are firms acknowledged by their local community as a leader in hospitality design, they are also celebrated internationally across the vast network of professionals in the industry!

Hitesh Patel Joins Curve Hospitality

Curve Hospitality is pleased to announce today the addition of Hitesh Patel as Chief Operating Officer. Patel brings more than 20 years of hospitality expertise to his role, tasked with further growing the company’s key partnerships while also providing strategic guidance to all departments at Curve Hospitality. At Curve Hospitality, we combine creative design solutions with our ability to manufacture and deliver hotel furnishings. Our experienced hospitality interior design team works closely with clients to turn their vision into a memorable guest experience. As a leading manufacturer of hospitality furnishings, our buying power, and expertise translate into competitive pricing to our clients. Hitesh Patel is an Austin, Texas-based hotelier and community leader with a strong entrepreneurial background. Hitesh is a 1996 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a BBA. In 1998, he launched his hospitality career with the construction of a Microtel Inn in Stafford, Texas. In the years that followed, Hitesh added branded properties like Best Western, Choice, IHG, and Wyndham to his portfolio. Today, Hitesh is the President of Capital City Hospitality Group, hotel asset company in Austin, TX. He holds several leadership positions within the hotel industry, including a place on both the Austin Hotel & Lodging Association and the Hospitality Technology Strategic Council Boards of Directors; an appointment to the Austin Economic Growth and Redevelopment Task Force; and an IHG Owners Association & Choice Hotel Owners Council Member. Hitesh has been a member of AAHOA, the voice of America’s hotel owners, since 2004 and began his service on the AAHOA Board of Directors in 2010, when he was elected Director at Large. He subsequently won the AAHOA Award of Excellence for his work in supporting the association’s educational initiatives in 2011.  Hitesh was elected in 2015 as the AAHOA Secretary and then became the Chairman of the world’s largest hotel owner’s association in 2018. During his Chairmanship, he launched AAHOA Hotel Owners Academy in 2018 and made combating Human Trafficking a top priority for the association and the hotel industry. Hitesh currently resides in Austin with his wife, Trusha, and their two children, Kylissa and Khaleal.
